08.23.21—My, how they have grown!

We think the one “baby” osprey is better at fishing that the other! It has been a VERY WARM summer at the nest near Sturgeon Lake, MN. The lake is just a short flying distance from the nest and the fish have been plentiful at the nest this summer! The hay field underneath the nest remains green but is growing very slowly. The golden rods are beginning to bloom in the ditches…a sure sign of changing seasons. I suppose the osprey family will begin their travels south soon. Stay tuned…
