Osprey Season 2021 approaching soon!

From Sturgeon Lake, MN. A much warmer than normal March has warmed our COVID spirits. Something else to brighten our spirits is that we are quite confident that we WILL have our osprey nest LIVE STREAMING to the website for all to enjoy for the return and summer home of the nest (37’ feet high on a man made platform on an electrical pole). They typically arrive about the second week of April so that is just around the corner. Sturgeon Lake (across the road from the nest) is still ice but appears to be melting rapidly. We had visits from geese yesterday by our pond but it too is mostly frozen. Stay well and stay tuned!
